English Language Training Services are an integral part of the Department of Student Support Services at Swansea University.

Based at the Emily Phipps Building at Hendrefoelan Student Village all members of the ELTS team, from administrative staff to management, are qualified professionals with many years experience of delivering a high quality English language learning and training experience to students from all over the world.

If you need to improve your English language skills before starting your academic studies, or you need support with the English language while studying on Swansea University programmes, ELTS offers a range of British Council accredited programmes to meet your needs and support you in achieving your academic & English language goals.

Students on these programmes are placed in multi-national classes of up to 18 students and are taught by qualified and experienced teachers.

As fully enrolled students of the University, ELTS students enjoy full access to library, computing and sports facilities as well as the full range of Student Support Services which provides information and advice on non-academic matters, in particular, the International Student Advisory Service, for expert immigration advice and services.

We aim to offer a high quality English Language learning & training experience to all our students.

The Emily Phipps Building is set in beautiful woodland and is only 10 minutes by car from the main campus & the city centre.
